Name: Flare Gun

Description: A flare gun is a special type of ranged weapon that can shoot explosives called flares. Flares are not meant to be used as a weapon, but rather a way of signaling to people in the distance. A flare gun can shoot a flare up to 75 meters, after which it will explode. The flare's explosion can be seen up to a mile away. However, the damage from a flare would only be as much as a C-ranked technique if it were used as a weapon. Flares come in many different colors and two come to a box of tiny size.

Description: Flashlights are basic equipment that allow a ninja to see in the dark. There are different sizes of flashlights, ranging from about six inches to a foot. Flashlights may shine with different types of bulbs, depending on how it is crafted, although standard flashlights shine with florescents. Tiny flashlights illuminate in a cone up to 10 meters. Small flashlights illuminate in a cone up to 20 meters.

Description: A single portion of military food rations, wrapped and contained for storage in a tiny pack. Simply open the package and add a half a cup of water to create a full meal. A single pack of food rations is enough to sustain a person for a day without feeling the effects of hunger.

Description: Maps are common for shinobi since it allows them to survey and communicate about a region accurately, as well as finding hidden locations. When used with a compass, a map can be used to determine a very precise location down to a single degree. There are several different types of maps including World Maps, Region Maps, and City Maps. World maps show the whole world, region maps show specific lands and countries, and city maps show all of the details of a particular city. Players need to select which type of map it is when they buy the item at a store. Characters may mark locations on their map in order to reference them easily later. Maps do not show the location of hidden villages unless they have been marked to do so by a playable character.

Description: Rope is a thick type of string that has a variety of uses such as tying up items or people. Rope can withstand up to 10 hp of damage before breaking, and if a person is tied up with rope then they must succeed on a Stamina check of at least 35 to escape. A single piece of rope can hold up to 200 lbs. before snapping.

Description: Smoke bombs are round, compact explosives that, when detonated, send a cloud of smoke into a 5-meter radius area. The smoke obscures normal vision and lights, such as flashlights, and can allow the user to make a quick escape or sneak attack. Smoke bombs are non-toxic but can be modified in certain situations.

Description: The spyglass is a short tube, that can be squeezed into a tiny cylinder for storage, which allows the user to peer out for long distances. The spyglass has been used by sailors for centuries, allowing them to look across the watery horizons for land. Some have been tried using large spyglass to peer into space. This type of spyglass, however, can enhance normal vision up to a range of 300 meters away with a clear line of sight. Additionally if the user is looking at something with their spyglass within 50 meters, and they roll an Observation skill check, then they will gain a +5 bonus to their roll.

Description: Tents are a type of packable dwelling that ninja, or commoners, might use when traveling through the outdoors. They are capable of rolling into a medium size, but can be pitched up to much larger sizes (up to 8 feet x 8 feet). Tents are waterproof and can withstand average winds. They are useful for sleeping and maintaining a campsite.

Size: Small
Description: A torch, unlike a flashlight, can illuminate an entire area around a user. A torch, however, must be lit with some source of fire. A torch can clearly illuminate up to a 5 meter radius around the wielder. Everything beyond that up to a 10 meter radius has shadowy illumination. Anyone attempting a stealth skill check to hide from the wielder gains a +5 to their roll in shadowy illumination.

Description: A whistle is a small, metal object that is usually worn around the neck, the wrist, or strapped to packs. When blown, the whistle emits a high-pitched sound that can be heard by anyone within a 100 meter radius. The whistle is often used as a way of communicating with allies who are nearby but unable to see the user. The distance that the sound of a whistle can carry is muffled by walls and other barriers.

Description: Wire can be used as a rope, or string, but is made of steel and is therefore more durable (and narrow) than ordinary rope. Wire can also conduct electricity like other metals. Wire can withstand up to 15 hp of damage before breaking, and if a person is tied up with wire than they must succeed on a Stamina check of at least 45 to break free. A single piece of wire can hold up to 350 lbs before snapping.
