Basic Taijutsu
- You do NOT need to sacrifice a class slot to learn these techniques.
D-rank
Name: Front Jab
Rank: "D", "C", "B"
Type: Taijutsu
Drawbacks: Rather simple attack.
Description: The user delivers a front jab, at the opponent, with their fist. The user must aim for a high or mid-level attack. The front jab is more powerful than an average person's punch because the user has trained it so much. This front jab will deliver damage equal to its rank upon a successful hit.
Requirements: None
Name: Front Kick
Rank: "D", "C", "B"
Type: Taijutsu
Drawbacks: An opponent can counter by striking at the user's grounded leg.
Description: The user delivers a front kick, at the opponent, with the sole of their foot. The user must aim for a low or mid-level attack. The front kick is more powerful than an average person's kick because the user has trained it so much. This front kick will deliver damage equal to its rank upon a successful hit.
Requirements: None
Rank: "C"
Type: Taijutsu
Drawbacks: n/a
Description: Seeing that the enemy is slightly out-of-range, the user jumps toward them with their dominant foot extended into a front kick. The user is in the air, so there is no grounded leg to kick out from under them. The user is difficult to counter since they are hurtling right at the foe. The user can jump up to five meters toward a foe. If the user's kick is successful, then this technique deals damage equal to the rank that the user knows in Front Kick.
Requirements: Must know Front Kick

Name: Palm Block
Rank: "D", "C", "B"
Type: Taijutsu
Drawbacks: Cannot block multiple attacks in a single movement.
Description: One of the most universal taijutsu blocks, the Palm Block allows the user to raise one of their palms and meet an opponent's mid or high-level, hand-to-hand taijutsu attack. The attack will slam harmlessly into the user's palm as they brace for impact and absorb the hit. The user can train their palm to become stronger and more durable, thereby blocking even more damage. This technique can block hand-to-hand taijutsu techniques up to its rank, even if the opposing technique deals more damage than a normal B-rank. If an attack would break through this defense, however, then its damage will be reduced by the strength of the block.
Requirements: None
Name: Rising Block
Rank: "D" (Multiple, Max 5)
Type: Taijutsu
Drawbacks: n/a
Description: The user raises their forearm to block a hand-to-hand taijutsu attack aimed at high-level, such as the face or neck. This technique takes one movement and blocks one attack. The Rising Block technique can deflect up to 10 hp of damage per time the user has learned this technique.
Requirements: None
C-rank
Name: Back Hand Strike
Rank: "C"
Type: Taijutsu
Drawbacks: n/a
Description: The user forms a fist and holds their hand up. In an instant, they swing their fist forward and slam an opponent with the back of their hand. The strength comes from the forearm and elbow. This technique deals damage equal to its rank. This technique has a knockback effect of 1 meter.
Requirements: None
Name: Elbow Strike
Rank: "C", "B"
Type: Taijutsu
Drawbacks: n/a
Description: The user delivers a strike with their elbow, forcing it to slam into an opponent's body. The user must aim for a high or mid-level attack. This attack is more powerful than an ordinary elbow strike, since the user has trained it so much. The elbow strike will deliver damage equal to its rank upon a successful hit.
Requirements: None
Name: Knee Strike
Rank: "C", "B"
Type: Taijutsu
Drawbacks: n/a
Description: The user delivers a strike with their knee, forcing it to slam into an opponent's body. The user must aim for a low or mid-level attack. This attack is more powerful than an ordinary strike with the knee, since the user has trained it so much. The knee strike will deliver damage equal to its rank upon a successful hit.
Requirements: None
Name: Low Sweeping Block
Rank: "C"
Type: Taijutsu
Drawbacks: n/a
Description: The user waits for an opponent to go in for a low or mid-level taijutsu attack. The user's hand suddenly pushes the attack to the side and downward, with speed and grace, and slides the opponent past the user's hip. This leaves the opponent open, and their back exposed, to the user's counterattack. This technique takes one movement and can only block taijutsu attacks up to B-rank. If an attack is strong enough to break through the Low Sweeping Block, then it deals all damage (none is reduced from the block).
