Primary Weapons

Name: Short Sword
Type: Primary, Slashing
Size: Small
Description: May be used with one hand. A short sword, or long knife, is a blade between 1 - 2 feet. The short sword is used mainly by rogues and commoners, and is one of the most accessible types of blades. Some examples of the short sword include the gladius and the dirk. Short swords deal +4 damage with each attack.

Name: Longsword
Type: Primary, Slashing
Size: Medium
Description: May be used with one hand. A longsword is between 2 - 4 feet and has been the most popular sword among ninja for decades. Many variations of the longsword exist including the rapier, scimitar, and katana. Longswords deal +6 damage with each attack.

[/b] Quickblade Rapier
Type: Primary, Slashing
Size: Medium
Description: 20% chance of finding. The quickblade rapier is a type of longsword. It is longer and more narrow than an ordinary rapier, and curved along the blade. A quickblade rapier acts the same as a regular longsword except it does +4 damage with each attack but gains a disarm ability. If an opponent would block a quickblade rapier, with a medium or smaller weapon, then the user can try to disarm their opponent as a movement once per round. The user and the opponent must roll Stamina (1d20 + stat) to determine the victor. If an opponent loses the roll, then their weapon will fall to the ground.

Name: Broadsword
Type: Primary, Slashing
Size: Large
Description: May be used with two hands. A broadsword is a massive blade that stands up to 6 feet long. The weilder of a broadsword must have great strength in order to swing the blade, meaning that the character must have a Stamina stat of at least 15. Broadswords deal +10 damage with each attack.

Name: Spear
Type: Primary, Slashing
Size: Small, Medium
Description: A spear is a wood, or metal, rod with a blade on one end to stab and slice opponents. The spear is a favorite among mid-range, versatile fighters due to the fact that it can be wielded one-handed or thrown up to 20 meters. A short spear is up to three feet long and deals +5 damage with each attack. A long spear is up to six feet long and deals +8 damage with each attack.
Cost: Small: 6,000 ryo / Medium: 10,000 ryo

Name: War-Hammer
Type: Primary, Bludgeoning
Size: Small, Medium
Description: A war hammer is a special item used by courageous individuals to smash their foes with brute strength. The war hammer seeks to crush foes and break their bones, rather than slice them and make them bleed like a blade. The end of a hammer can, however, be either blunt or pointed. War hammers come in two sizes -- small and medium. Small war hammers may be used with one hand, medium war hammers must be used with two hands. Small war hammers are up to two feet long, while medium war hammers can get up to three and a half feet. Small war hammers deal +4 damage with each attack. Medium war hammers deal +8 damage with each attack.

Name: Gauntlet
Type: Primary, Bludgeoning
Size: Small
Description: Gauntlets are metal gloves which can be worn over the hands which serve to increase a user's physical damage. The gauntlet does makes it impossible, however, for a person to weild any other weapon in the same hand due to the loss of dexterity. A character can either were a gauntlet over one or both hands. When a character deals an unarmed strike, or a taijutsu, hand-to-hand based technique, while wearing a gauntlet they deal +2 damage with each successful hit.

Name: Kama
Type: Primary, Slashing
Size: Small
Description: May be used with one hand. The kama was traditionally used by farmers to harvest crops, but was later used as a weapon by those same farmers when they had to go to war. The kama looks like a small scythe that can be held in one hand, about a foot long although some can get up to two feet. It has a sharp, sometimes lengthy, blade on the end that allows the user to slice their opponent. Because of its small size, users will sometimes carry a kama in each hand. Kamas deal +4 damage with each attack.

Type: Primary, Slashing
Size: Medium
Description: The scythe is a weapon, originally used by farmers, which has come to be associated with deities of death and the underworld. Scythes have a long shaft, or handle, and a curved blade on one end. Most scythes are between four and six feet long. A scythe deals +8 damage with each attack.

Name: Trident
Type: Primary, Slashing
Size: Medium
Description: May be used with one hand. The trident is a weapon, originally used for spear-fishing, which consists of a long pole and (typically) three sharp prongs. This weapon is usually associated with sea deities. The trident is between four and five feet long, and can be thrown up to 10 meters away as a movement. The trident deals +6 damage with each attack.

Secondary Weapons

Name: Barbed Dagger
Type: Secondary, Slashing
Size: Small
Description: The barbed dagger is a favorite among rogues and criminals. The blade is about six inches long although, unlike an ordinary knife, it is crafted with various barbs and jagged edges. When the user stabs someone with a barbed dagger, the blade can get stuck in the flesh and twisted to cause even more pain. The barbed dagger cannot be thrown. The barbed dagger deals +4 damage with each attack and can be stabbed into a victim's body. Removing the blade requires an additional movement, and the dagger deals an additional +4 damage as the barbs are ripped out of the flesh.

Name: Explosive Tag
Type: Explosive
Size: Tiny (50)
Description: Explosive tags are sold as single pieces but are so small that 50 of them can fit a tiny slot. Explosive tags are infused with special chakra sigils that react to an individual's specific energy signature. Tags may be stuck to hard surfaces or wrapped around ranged weapons. Tags are waterproof. As long as a tag is within 20 meters of the user, the user can form a single handsign with one hand and cause the tag to explode. The tag will explode in a 5-meter diameter and cause a C-rank worth of damage to anyone caught in the blast.

Name: Kunai
Type: Secondary, Slashing
Size: Tiny
Description: Kunai are ninja throwing knives and one of the most popular tools in the shinobi world. The handles are often wrapped in bandages for easier grasp and have a circular opening, to tie addition weapons to the knife. Kunai can either be used alone or placed, as ammunition, into other devices. The blade of a kunai is roughly 4 - 6 inches long. Kunai have a range of 20 meters. Kunai deal +2 damage with each attack.

Name: Senbon
Type: Secondary, Slashing
Size: Tiny (25)
Description: Senbon are a thin, sharp needle used by ninja -- either in their hand or as a ranged weapon. A ninja may hold, and throw, up to three senbon in a hand at a time. Senbon have a range of 30 meters. Senbon deal +1 damage with each attack. Senbon are incredibly precise and swift, and may be aimed at specific organs or chakra points. Senbon may also be used for healing purposes and acupuncture.

Name: Shuriken
Type: Secondary, Slashing
Size: Tiny
Description: Shuriken, or ninja stars, are one of the most popular tools in the shinobi world. Stretching about six inches in diameter on average, shuriken have four sharp blades that spin when the star is launched. An average person can throw up to three shuriken at a time. Shuriken have a range of 30 meters. Shuriken deal +1 damage with each attack.
